Eligibility and Account Usage

Currently, the platform does not require a registered login for purchases, but in the future, user accounts with email and password may be introduced for enhanced features. Users are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of their information and ensuring that their account is used in compliance with applicable laws.

Ordering and Payments

All orders placed on Favescart go through a verification and checkout process. Product availability, pricing, and details are subject to change without prior notice. We reserve the right to reject or cancel orders due to stock unavailability, errors, or suspected violations. Payments are currently accepted via manual UPI transfers, with future integrations planned for secure payment gateways including prepaid and Cash on Delivery options. Users are responsible for ensuring timely payment for successful order processing.

Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property, including the content, logos, designs, and product images displayed on the Favescart platform, are owned either by Favescart or by the respective sellers. Unauthorized use, copying, or reproduction of this content is strictly prohibited. Violations may lead to legal action.

Liability and Disclaimers

Favescart is not liable for indirect losses, courier delays, third-party breaches, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters or strikes. Our liability in any case is limited strictly to the value of the order placed. By using our platform, you accept that certain risks outside our control may affect your shopping experience, though we remain committed to assisting you wherever possible.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

All disputes arising under these Terms & Conditions shall be governed by Indian laws, with exclusive jurisdiction resting with the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Users and sellers agree to attempt amicable resolution of disputes through our support channels before approaching legal remedies.

Privacy Policy

At Favescart, we are committed to protecting your personal data in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000, and principles of data protection similar to those in the GDPR, emphasizing transparency, security, and user control.

1. Scope

This policy applies to buyers, sellers, and visitors who use our website, apps, or services offered under the Favescart brand.

2. Data We Collect

Buyers

  • Name, mobile number, shipping address, and optional email during checkout.
  • Addresses may be temporarily stored in browser local storage, which you can clear anytime.
  • Order details such as products purchased, order value, and timestamps.

Sellers

  • Registration details including name, email, mobile number, business details, Government ID proof, tax information, and bank details for payouts.
  • Account data such as product listings, pricing, and uploaded media.
  • Communications and activity data for support, compliance, and marketing preferences (opt-in/opt-out).

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To process and fulfill orders, including delivery coordination.
  • To provide customer support and resolve disputes.
  • To enable seller operations including account management and payouts.
  • To improve our services, analyze usage, and develop new features.
  • To send marketing communications with clear opt-out options.
  • To comply with laws, prevent fraud, and enforce platform policies.

4. Payments

We do not store your payment details. Current transactions may be handled via manual UPI transfers. Future payment gateway integrations will handle sensitive payment information directly, while we may receive confirmation tokens for order processing.

5. Sharing & Disclosures

  • With couriers for delivery (limited to name, contact, and address).
  • With service providers for hosting, analytics, communications, and support—under confidentiality obligations.
  • With regulators or authorities when required by law.
  • We never sell your personal data.

6. Data Retention

  • Order history is retained permanently for analytics and compliance.
  • Cancelled orders are flagged but not deleted to study trends.
  • Seller records are stored as long as legally necessary for taxation and payouts.
  • Local storage data remains until you clear it.

  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion of your personal data (except records needed for compliance or analytics).

Favescart maintains a transparent approach to data usage and user privacy. At present, our platform does not use cookies or session tracking. Instead, addresses entered at checkout are stored temporarily in your browser’s local storage, which you can manage or clear anytime.

Future cookie usage

  • When user accounts are introduced, necessary cookies may be used to support login sessions, shopping cart persistence, and order tracking.
  • Functional cookies may be introduced to improve your experience with personalized product suggestions.
  • Analytical cookies, such as Google Analytics or Firebase, may be employed to help us track performance and reach. Any such implementation will be accompanied by a clear consent banner that allows you to opt out or adjust cookie preferences.

Shipping & Delivery Policy

Delivery Timelines

Orders within Tamil Nadu are generally delivered within 3–4 business days, whereas deliveries outside Tamil Nadu take 5–7 business days. These timelines exclude weekends and government-declared holidays.

Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are kept transparent. Deliveries within Tamil Nadu carry a nominal fee of 50, while those outside the state are charged 100. Orders with a subtotal above 499 qualify for free shipping.

Dispatch & Packaging

Sellers are mandated to dispatch orders within 24–36 hours of payment confirmation. Secure packaging is mandatory. Favescart reserves the right to hold settlements if a seller fails to comply with these standards.

Tracking & Notifications

We provide step-by-step updates on order status including stages like 'Order Placed', 'Accepted', 'Packed', and 'Out for Delivery'. Once dispatched, customers receive a live tracking link integrated with trackcourier.io. Notifications are shared via email and WhatsApp.

Failed Deliveries & Address Issues

If delivery fails due to customer unavailability after multiple attempts, the order is returned to the seller. For prepaid orders, refunds are processed after deducting both-way delivery costs plus a 30 handling fee. If the address provided is incorrect, re-attempts can be arranged once corrected, but delivery charges must be borne by the customer.

Special Circumstances & Liability

Favescart is not liable for delays arising from strikes, natural disasters, or courier-level disruptions. Parcels lost or damaged in transit are covered under our Refund & Return Policy. Currently, Favescart does not support international shipping.

Cancellation Policy

  1. Before Payment Confirmation: Customers can cancel freely with no charges. A cancellation reason is requested for internal analysis.
  2. After Payment but Before Dispatch: Cancellations possible with a service fee—either 2% of order value or 30, whichever is higher. Refunds processed within 2–3 business days.
  3. After Dispatch: Cancellations are not possible. Customers must use Refund & Return processes if they do not wish to keep the product.
  4. Special Considerations: For future COD flows, stricter rules may apply. Automatic cancellation may occur if payment is not completed in stipulated time.
  5. Communication Channels: Cancellations are accepted only via WhatsApp or email (support@favescart.com) to maintain records.

Refund & Return Policy

Eligible Cases

Refunds and returns apply to defective, damaged, or wrong products. Hygiene-based and perishable items are generally excluded unless a clear fault is identified.

Process for Raising a Request

Requests must be raised within 48 hours of delivery with evidence such as an unboxing video and photos. Evidence is compared with seller-provided pre-dispatch proofs.

Return Logistics

Customers currently self-ship returns back to the seller. Once seller verifies receipt, refunds or replacements are initiated. Customers are reimbursed for 75% of courier expenses after verification.

Replacements and Repairs

If a defective product cannot be repaired, sellers must provide a replacement of the same or similar product. Wrong deliveries are replaced at no additional cost to the customer.

Warranty Claims

Warranty claims can be raised anytime within the warranty period from the dispatch date. Sellers handle claims via repair, replacement, or partial refund depending on the case.

Exclusions and Deductions

Refund amounts may be adjusted for cancellations after payment, failed deliveries due to incorrect addresses, and two-way courier charges where applicable.

Processing Timelines

Currently, refunds are processed manually within 2–3 business days via UPI. With future payment gateway integration, automated refunds will follow standard timelines of 5–7 business days.

Buyer Policy

1. Buyer Eligibility

By placing an order on Favescart, buyers confirm that they are at least 18 years of age, or using the platform under the supervision of a parent/guardian. Buyers must ensure that the information they provide, including name, address, and payment details, is accurate and up to date.

2. Order Placement & Confirmation

Buyers are responsible for reviewing product details, prices, shipping charges, and delivery timelines before confirming an order. Once an order is placed, it is considered a legal commitment to purchase the selected product(s) in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.

3. Payments & Charges

All payments must be made through the approved payment methods displayed at checkout. Buyers agree to pay the full amount, including applicable taxes, delivery charges, and additional fees if any. Orders may be cancelled if payments are incomplete or fraudulent activity is detected.

4. Delivery & Address Accuracy

Buyers are responsible for providing a complete and correct shipping address. If an order fails to deliver due to incorrect or incomplete details, additional shipping fees may apply for re-delivery. Buyers must ensure they are available to receive the package at the delivery time notified.

5. Cancellations

Buyers may request cancellations in line with our Cancellation Policy. Cancellations after dispatch are not permitted, and such cases must follow the Refund & Return Policy.

6. Returns & Refunds

Returns and refunds are subject to eligibility criteria outlined in our Refund & Return Policy. Buyers must provide proof (such as photos or videos) within the stipulated timeframes to qualify for refunds or replacements. Misuse of the return/refund process (such as filing false claims) is prohibited and may result in account restrictions.

7. Buyer Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate personal and delivery details when placing an order.
  • Use the platform only for lawful purchases and personal consumption.
  • Do not misuse promotional offers, coupons, or discounts in bad faith.
  • Respect communication guidelines when interacting with sellers or support teams.

8. Prohibited Activities

Buyers must not engage in fraudulent orders, chargeback abuse, harassment of sellers, or use of the platform for resale without authorization. Violations may lead to suspension of access, order cancellations, and possible legal action under applicable Indian laws.

9. Buyer Rights

Favescart ensures that buyers are protected under fair trade practices. Buyers are entitled to receive products that match their descriptions, fair grievance redressal, and transparent refund processes. Our support team works actively to safeguard buyer interests in disputes.

10. Amendments

This Buyer Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in laws, consumer rights, or platform improvements. Buyers are encouraged to review policies regularly to stay informed about their rights and responsibilities.

Seller Policy

1. Seller Registration & Account Management

Sellers must provide accurate details including bank/UPI info and documentation. After registration they gain access to a management panel to upload and manage products. Sellers must keep listings, prices, and stock accurate.

2. Product Listings and Standards

Listings must include accurate titles, descriptions, prices, variants, warranties, and high-quality images. Prohibited items include counterfeit, illegal, or unsafe products. Favescart may moderate or remove listings that violate policies.

3. Commission, Fees, and Settlements

Favescart charges a platform commission between 10% and 15% depending on category. Payment gateway charges, if any, are deducted before settlement. Settlements are processed within 7 business days after successful delivery.

4. Shipping & Delivery

Sellers must dispatch within 24–36 hours of payment confirmation and ensure secure packaging. Favescart may withhold settlements for non-compliance.

5. Returns, Replacements & Refunds

Sellers must comply with Favescart's Refund & Return Policy and reimburse verified shipping costs where applicable.

6. Responsibilities and Code of Conduct

Sellers must operate with integrity and respond promptly to customer queries. Repeated complaints may lead to suspension or termination.

7. Favescart Rights

Favescart may suspend or terminate seller accounts that violate platform policies and may update commission structures or guidelines with prior notice.

Misuse & Abuse Prevention

Fraudulent activities such as fake orders, false refund claims, counterfeit listings, or data manipulation are strictly prohibited. Violations may lead to account suspension, cancellation of orders without refunds, and possible legal action under Indian laws.

The platform monitors suspicious activity using multiple verification layers and reserves the right to investigate, withhold settlements, or share necessary data with authorities when required.
